Ahh... am I missing something? What is sugru?

[beautiful new film] sugru: sticky

#
Filed under: inspiring stuff, making, physical properties

We have an ever growing collection of odd objects lying around the office that we’ve used at various points for testing sugru’s adhesive properties… what if we tested them all together though?

Music by the awesome Four Tet.

So… how long did they stay suspended together?

Corgi on September 27, 2011 at 5:34 pm

That is awesome. Here’s hoping to see that and similar stylistic films as advertising on TV. The world needs to know about Sugru; I know I keep telling everyone about it!

How do you get the Sugru off your camera?

Brandon on September 27, 2011 at 6:22 pm

That is rockin’! Just lovely. Thanks.

That was simply amazing. It inspired a bit more confidence to open more packs of Sugru and try it out on stuff.

thanks! all credit to James, Ben and Oli here who made the film over the last few days, we all totally love it too. @Corgi for an hour or two during filming – but good point! we’ll suspend them again tonight for a test and see how long it lasts – will let you know @brandon I think that’s going to be in the sequel! but for now have a look here http://ow.ly/6GzqQ

You always make me smile. Thank you. Just tweeted your film; every household needs you.

Oh wow. I can’t believe I almost gave up on my headphones that recently broke. I tried super glue last night and it barely worked to hold things together.

Today I got my Sugru newsletter and BAM! Sugru on order by this evening. I can’t wait to get it and fix these awesome things.

Sugru is great for holding the end of gorilla tape in place so it won’t slide loose leaving that awful gorilla tape snot on things. My flat screen stays in place, held only by three strips of duct tape on top and attached to an old fat monitor. The sugru keeps the duct tape from coming loose. I’m going to put sugru on the snot and see if it removes it!

Genius! Clever! Simple! = SUGRU!

Well impressed by your “sticky” film, how long did they stay suspended and securely stuck how long before a bond gave way and which one went first?

Wow, wonderful video! Crisp, gorgeous photography really expresses the texture and feel of sugru. Excellent, surprising strength study, too. Love this one!!!
