the sugru blog

Ahh... am I missing something? What is sugru?

Christmas sugru! (A wee holiday offer.)

#

We love that lots of people are buying multiple packs to give to their friends and family this holiday season, so we thought we should help… until the 18th December, the voucher code YAYCHRISTMAS will allow you to buy any 4 packs for the price of 3!

Just go to the buy sugru page and choose 4 packs of sugru. Then, in the checkout, click “I have a voucher code”, then enter YAYCHRISTMAS

:-)

(P.S. You know what Christmas post can be like. We ship from the USA and UK, so if you live somewhere else, please leave enough time for delivery.)

Darn – I just placed an order for 3 packs but didn’t see this until after I placed the order! Oh well, can’t wait to try Sugru!

I tried using the YAYCHRISTMAS coupon on 12/18-2011 and it didn’t work so I settled for a single pack. Seems like the blog should have said before 12/18 or by 12/17, seems sort of misleading. But I am anxious to try the sugruout anyway. Do you know how much voltage sugru can handle? I think it could be useful in vacuum tube (valve) guitar amp circuitry if it could handle 600 volts DC or better.

@Matthew, thanks for posting and sorry to hear that happened, I’m not sure why it did. Darn. Thanks for buying a pack anyway, and full test data relating to electrical insulation is available on the tech data sheet which is downloadable from the bottom of this page http://sugru.com/us/about I hope it works for your guitar – do let us know.
