Ahh... am I missing something? What is sugru?

Project ! Lovely Twig Hooks

#

James here at sugru made these gorgeous hooks recently. We all instantly fell in love with them so he made an instructable to show us all how to make them for ourselves! Are they cute or what ?
My eyes are peeled for nice twigs now … I want to make some of these on the back of the office door…

I can’t believe that some sugru and a twig can hold a saucepan!

I know, I was totally surprised as well ! but it does :) I guess it really does depend on the bond to the wall… I think the fact this is bare brick probably helps.  You’re right, it is surpising!

It’s fantastic!

But I’m also wondering how the next owners/tenants will feel about this permanent design choice.  At some point this might become a resale issue.

Is there a way to remove sugru?  I didn’t find anything specific about it on the website/blog/get satisfaction page.

But I did read the experiment with oils/solvents and it does sound like some sorts of concentrated exposure to solvents might remove the sugru over time. Thanks!
