Pepijn used sugru to improve his tea infuser:
It always slipped when I tried squeezing the handle. Not anymore!

LOL, I just did this.  I have a tea infuser that looks just like that, and it would hurt my fingers while I held it open.

Is it safe to dip sugru into hot tea (water)?

Hi Balazs, there won’t be any problem dipping it in hot water, it doesn’t melt and can withstand temperatures up to 180C. 
But as sugru isn’t graded as food grade we can’t recommend direct contact with tea you’re going to drink.  For this application through, as I understand it the sugru wouldn’t be dipped into the tea, it’s just on the handle.  Jane.
