Adapting an old MacBook Pro power connector

I've just bought a new MacBook Pro Retina laptop but still have a couple of power supplies from an older laptop that I'd like to use as spares. However, the new laptop uses a different power connector and whilst you can buy a magnetic adapter, it's very small and potentially easy to misplace or lose. So I used my trusty stash of Sugru (Note: ALWAYS keep some Sugru in the fridge!) to permanently join the two power connectors. Unlike other products, Sugru not only looks great but it also handles the significant heat generated at the power connector.

I honestly don't know what I used to do without Sugru!
