Add a repositionable feature to prototypes

sugru skin over an Instamorph core - the perfect combination for adding a repositionable feature to your prototypes. This demo piece I made 2 years ago illustrates how flexible the sugru skin can be. It is still in the same shape though I could change it at any time by simply reheating it. It can be reheated. From some test pieces I have made it became clear there is a limit to continuous reshaping - so be careful not to overdo it as the sugru skin can tear. I do have a lot more to add about this. This demo piece is about 3.5 inches (9 cm) in knotted form and .33 inches (9 mm) thick and the sugru skin is about .05 inches (1.5 mm) thick. I evenly rolled an 8 inch (21mm) snake form out of Instamorph, and if I remember correctly, I used 2 minipacks of sugru. I finger-flattened it into sheets to get the best uniformity possible and wrapped the piece evenly and rolled it till I felt it was okie dokie.
