Fixing a kid's bouncy wooden toy.

My daughter has a couple of bouncy wooden toys, which she loves. You know the sort - hold them by the ring at the top and watch them bounce. The dragon used to have the same wooden ring for holding it as the donkey has... until she made the mistake of leaving the dragon on the floor where the dogs could get it. Cue some waterworks.

I initially just put an old keyring through the wire, but it popped free after a couple of enthusiastic swings so I coated spring and keyring in some yellow sugru and now all is well with the world again. She had a great time helping me fix it, and now whenever someone admires her dragon she shows it to them and shouts "LELLOW SUGRU!", which generally gets a puzzled look.

Top tip: Having to wait 24 hours to play with a toy is interminable to a kid, so brace yourself for endless "play with dragon now?" questions!
