Keep your phone in place to record a video

I'm a rock climber, and climb regularly in the Berkeley hills of California. There are a number of shorter climbs that I'm working on. I use the dock to take video of myself climbing the hardest parts so I can compare my sequence and technique to the many videos of the same climbs already on Youtube. The dock allows me to do it from the same location and angle consistently, without the phone falling over, and without having to use whatever is at hand to prop the phone up. It also makes the record and stop record button much easier to access when in location.
