Make your mistletoe magnetic for the holidays

Every year we end up trying to tape, tack or otherwise jam something into the wood in order to hang our mistletoe. I noticed that our (fake) plant was wrapped together with a number of steel wires. I tested out a few flat magnets I had lying around and found that one was strong enough to hold it up without any modification. So I took some white Sugru (about 1/2 pack), lightly covered the magnet and stuck it to the frame.

After a day the Mistletoe hangs perfectly and I'm excited to explore other things I can hang up there. For a firmer connection I could always add another magnet to what I'm hanging too.
