Protect side buttons on a mobile phone

Instead of a smart phone, I use a dumb phone plus an iPod. The main problem I have with a dumb phone is that it has dumb buttons sticking out on both sides. These were constantly being pushed accidentally when the phone was in my pocket. My phone was always taking pictures of the inside of my pocket, or saying "Please say a command!" So I added a strip of Sugru to each side of the phone, just covering the buttons plus a little overlap. Now the buttons don't get pushed accidentally, but I can still push them on purpose, because of the flexibility of the Sugru.
