Reconstruct the nose piece on sunglasses

I have a pair of prescription sunglasses where the nose piece started falling apart… Partly age and probably partly sunscreen and insect repellent causing the old rubber to disintegrate. Rather than get a new pair, which are bloody expensive due to the prescription lenses, I wondered how I may be able to fix it. sugru to the rescue!

A bit of sugru and a few minutes of time and it is as good as new. Actually, probably even a bit more comfortable. Thank you!
