Repair a brake shifter on your bike

Made it through an Oregon winter, freezing temps and tons of rain. Then through a hot, dry summer. Fifteen hundred miles, thousands of gear changes. Looks as good now as when I made the repair. I really wouldn't believe it if i didn't see it and use it everyday.
