sugru is the new self-setting rubber for fixing, modifying and making stuff.
sugru can be formed and shaped by hand for up to 30 minutes once it has been removed from its packaging.
Sticks to almost anything
sugru forms a strong bond to metal, ceramics, glass, wood and some plastics like perspex and ABS and rubbers like silicone and butyl rubber.
Air cures at room temperature
sugru is like modelling clay when you take it from its pack. Once it's exposed to air, it cures to a tough flexible silicone overnight using the moisture in the air.
The sugru gallery - this place belongs to you! This is where we publish the best of the fixes, mods, hacks and improvements sent to us by sugru users every month. Whether you're a pro, or just getting started, share your projects with us — you might even win some free sugru!
Stop a ladder scratching your wall Add protective pads
My ladder has a stabilising bar on the top so the ladder doesn't tip which could result in a broken neck. The bars don't attach to anything but scratch the house when I lean against it.
I used two green packets and moulded them on the end bars (matching the existing green ends!) and now the ends of the bar won't scratch the side of the house. Jonathon, New York
