How to improve a Raspberry Pi case
Here is an improved Raspberry Pi case thanks to Sugru and 4 neodymium magnets. Now I can stick it to metallic surfaces without fear of scratching them.
This was part of a review of Sugru that I did for Xataka Smart Home (Spanish)
Kit
- Sugru
- 4 neodymium magnets
- Raspberry Pi box
- Raspberry Pi
Step 1
I removed the four silicone bumpers that it had and replaced them with the neodymium magnets. In order to protect the surfaces I want to stick it on, I added some red Sugru.
Step 2
Modelling was quite easy, using a glass table (shown in the picture) with soapy water I managed to have four smooth feet.
Step 3
Testing it on the fridge. Perfect result!
