How to make a protective cover for sharp scissors
Bought a new (expensive) pair of scissors with sharp and fragile edges?
Wondering how to protect users (especially kids) and the scissors tips when laying around in the bathroom or during travel?
Build a customized sheath !
Kit
- 1 single-use pack of Sugru
- A small piece of cling film/plastic wrap
Step 1
See large photo for step by step:
Cover sharp part of scissors with wrap (keep it as tight as possible)
Prepare Sugru base
Push wrapped scissors gently into base
Do fine tuning to the outside
Let it sit for 12-24 hrs to finish Sugru's setting process (with the scissors inside!)
Take out scissors, unwrap and clean.
Done. Enjoy!
