Improve your vintage Ham Radio

I am a Radio Ham. One of my costly pieces of equipment a Bird Thruline power meter had lost a rubber foot. They are available to buy, but for about $30 once the shipping to the UK from USA has been added.
Next comes a MFJ 259B Antenna Analyzer, This a a battery powered instrument, the power switch is far too easy to knock and switch on by mistake, leading to flat batteries, and this unit takes 10 AA cells, so is quite expensive to fill up, and it is very annoying when this has happened when away on a portable event.
