Repair a worn out headset

The soft plastic part in my head set had worn away to the point of no return. I spoke to Nokia about replacing the small part but they said 'bin the unit and buy a new one'. Before I used sugru I tried different hard glues but they didn't work or were too rigid. Sugru stuck well and is so gentle on my lugs (ears). It flexes so well that it works better than new.
