We recently bought a tripod and were slightly disappointed that the feet on it were plastic and not very grippy, which made the tripod slide around on smooth surfaces. We had bought some sugru about a month ago and knew it would be perfect to modify the tripod. The texture was made by pressing the sugru on the side of a wireframe wastepaper bin. Problem solved!
