Make your Airsoft goggles safer

I play Airsoft and for safety you have to wear protective eye wear either a plastic or metal mesh goggle.? The problem is that plastic googles fog up very easily and with mesh goggles there is always the chance that a pellet could shatter on impact and penetrate the mesh...ouch.? The ideal would be to incorporate the two to make something safer than mesh and also avoid the problem with fogging...and then I found Sugru! I took a pair of mesh goggles and a pair of industrial safety glasses and combined them.? I disassembled the glasses and used the sugru to make a mount on the mesh goggle.? I formed the sugru around a couple of screws.? The screws were inserted through the frame of the glasses and then into the sugru.? This enables me to replace the glasses if necessary.? The glasses are mounted away from my face which prevents fogging while also protecting my eyes from particles passing through the mesh. Tom, Dublin.
