The hand grip at the top of my step ladder split apart and?it was just?where my fingers went, so it annoyed me every time I used it. Out came the green sugru (+ a black one, as it's a large split). I wrapped some cotton thread around the?handle to make the torn edges touch the ladder and closed the gap as much as I could, then I pushed the sugru into the space. I?rolled a bolt up and down the fix to match the grooves on the original and left it to cure. Next day I trimmed off?any cotton that was still showing. I'm dead chuffed as the grip is now as good as new. Janet, Portsmouth.
