Soften sharp corners Prevent youngsters getting hurt

When my Mum saw sugru at the Design Museum a couple of years ago, she immediately saw it as a solution to her problem: how to make safe the sharp edges of a quarry tile plinth in her living room. Ever since the birth of our boys she has been worried that one of them would slip and split their head open on it. 

Mothercare corner protectors are ugly, and get knocked off easily. Mum used the multi-colour pack, and the colour mixing suggestion sheet, to make a protector that matches the colour of the plinth so well that we didn't notice it on our last visit (the photo doesn't do it justice). Julian, UK
