Stop a ribbon bookmark from fraying Add a personal touch

The built-in ribbon bookmarks on my ten-year journal were frayed with just one year of use. I used tape to cover the ends, but that didn't last long either. Finally, I discovered sugru and have a permanent solution. I squished the sugru into the frayed ends for good adhesion and then added more to get the tassel shape. I smoothed the surface with soapy water and then used the edge of a knife to create the texture. For the gold ribbon, I used a 50:50 mix of orange and white. @aardvark, via sugru gurus
