Hi. Bought my first pack of Sugru today at the B&Q Store in Farnborough. It was really hard to find. I had to ask several employees and it was placed outside the cafe all alone by itself. It was not in the glue section were I thought it would be close to the entrance. The employees had no idea what it was. Now I am going to repair a mouse sander that is broken. So exciting!

Whessoe Road Darlington B&Q Walk in, tills to left, stands with batteries and air fresheners, bins with last-minute purchases, area for seasonal sale items, keep heading away from the doors, follow the long line of bins through the centre of the store- full of micro-fibre cloths and other oddments- all the way to the back, turn around to find the Sugru stand, at the end of the line of bins, at the back of the store, facing the back.
I found Sugru at my local B&Q, Castle Vale, Birmingham. I phoned first. They couldn't find it, but gave me the barcode. I went in, and the bloke I asked remembered it because they thought it looked like condoms. The display is at the end of an aisle near the tills. The display is about half full. Just waiting for my first fix to cure (which I won't be posting, cos I think I've been too ambitious).
Cheers Marco. They now have it on display, though not where it needs to be, which is alongside the fillers, glues and similar products. I recon anyone looking to fix a broken widget will end up choosing something less good, because they won't see the Sugru until too late :(. The excuse they have is that your point of sale display won't fit where I think it needs to be!
Out of interest, do these trials succeed without national advertising (expensive I know :( )? I'm not sure I can see why anyone who's not come across Sugru before would notice it in B&Q, especially if it's not where people will be looking for a solution to the things Sugru can help with? I think maybe you need to either have seen what it's capable of, OR be looking to solve a problem without knowing which product is best?
But after all that, I couldn't buy from there anyway :(. I need the 100g pack, and they only had smaller. I'd love to support you and help you get into B&Q, but it's not to be I'm afraid.

Hi, any thoughts on this please? I want to support you by buying in B&Q instead of online, but also need to get hold of the Sugru pretty soon.
Asked today at my local store (Havant; they're on your list), and the guy said they'd had a demo two weeks ago, but as yet no point of sale display or stock :(
He did give me a 5g sample though. Not enough for what I need to do, so don't worry I'll be back to buy some, but it'd have been good if this news had coincided with actual availability!

After 45 minutes search (seven staff members) my B&Q (CF48 1HY) found Sugru! The memory of one person saved the day – she said it looked like chewing gum. It now hangs very indiscriminately on three pillars in the ‘wrong’ aisle with no advertising. Target of 48 packs sold will be a miracle. Shame!
