SUGRU IS GETTING READY TO REPAIR AND RE-USE WITH THE GREATEST AND GREENEST THAT HACKNEY HAS TO OFFER
Sugru is getting re re ready to repair and re-use with the greatest and greenest that Hackney has to offer at the annual Repair and Re-use Day at London Fields on Saturday 24 June.
If you’re down that way, come and say hi. Good things are happening and there may be a free Sugru sample or two in it for you - woop.
The event is now in its fourth year and aims to help residents reduce waste and save money.
So who’s going to be there?
The frankly brilliant Hackney Fixers, who will be busy making good a myriad of broken electrical items
Dr Bike will also be there to give folks free bicycle checks and minor repairs
Barley Massey from Fabrications, will be hosting textile workshops to help people resurrect unruly wardrobes.
A give and take stall will also give people the chance to swap something old with something new for the princely sum of zero pence - ker-ching!
And to keep us all going there will be dishes from the North London Food Lovers’ Cookbook who will be demonstrating live, just how to reduce food waste in a seriously tasty way.
See you there!
