Protect your drums

I had to use a strip of rubber placed between my toms and the bass drum to keep them from scraping against each other. I had tried setting my drums up higher, but after a heavy session of drumming, they would always sink back down to rest on the bass drum. I raised the toms and added some uncured sugru. I also had some old, hardened sugru that had cured before I could use it. I cut the cured sugru into small squares, and squished it into the uncured sugru for extra padding. sugru makes a great dampener and now protects my drums during the heaviest of jam sessions!
