Stick a multiple socket extension under a tabletop

I used one sachet of Snow White Sugru, divided it into two, and I took care to smear a small amount of sugru onto the wood before applying the big blobs, in order to create a firm bond to the wood. Since I didn't trust masking tape to hold the construct while the sugru set overnight, I built a tower of boxes and magazines to support the whole thing. I'm extremely happy with the result, the bond is really firm. It even holds the rather heavy-ish timer clock that I sometimes use. As you see in the picture, I also used a blob of black Sugru to make a cable holder near the socket for my mobile's charging cable. Cool!
