Improve a Tre Spade coffee grinder

I improved my coffee grinder with sugru.
I bought it in a second-hand market last fall, it's a model produced by the Italian company TreSpade (Literally: Three Swords), it should be about 50 years old, but as I could check online and via some friends, it's been produced until the late seventies. The box had lost the couple of iron stripes (V-shaped) placed on the right and on the left side of it, that kept the box in place while the coffee beans were ground, allowing the coffee powder to fall into the box. So I've made two short pieces of sugru and I've inserted them into the channels on both sides of the box that originally hosted the iron stripes. Now the box fits perfectly into the coffee grinder! The base wasn't provided (as I could check online) with any rubber tip, so keeping the coffee grinder stable while grindind the beans, was really challenging, as it took a bit of strength! So I've made four discs of sugru and I've placed each one on the four corners of the base. I've just stuck them to the base and then I've lightly pushed the coffeegrinder on the table to make them flat. I could have added some texture to make them grippier, but the coffee grinder is stable anyway!
I hope that I've been able to explain you the needs I had, the process and the results. I'm glad for the opportunity to share my experience with you.

: ) Ciao ciao
