Magnetise a remote control car cover

Problem: Remote control cars have metal pins that are always getting lost or broken. Typically the former with too kids. I wanted to magnetise the kids Remote control (RC) car covers and using Sugru for the holdings… my solution is working perfectly. These cars are lipo powered can can reach speeds in excess of 50mph. I needed 4.6 – 6 KG strength Neo magnets. The ones at the top of the car are plastic coated.

I think many dads or kids could find this useful and the magnetic top is not falling off (except for big accidents) - the magnetism is very strong.
