Patch up a pair of derby skates

Derby is a rough sport! Derby on an outdoor track is even rougher (especially on your gear!). But sugru came through and did just the trick to fix the skates and keep me rolling!

The sugru on the skates has taken a little bit of a scuffing, but it is still holding up great after two weeks! My skates are made with microfiber exterior and the sugru is actually tougher than the material my skates came with. Another one of the skaters even asked if I could put a coat on their new skates when they come in! It's definitely done wonders to extend the life of these skates for me, and I'll definitely be using and recommending it for all kinds of gear fixes in the future!
