Prevent a lock from rattling using magnets

I knocked together a top box for my XT660Z Tenere from an old ammo box...

Needless to say, the padlock fastening the box rattled around like I don't know what... It was driving me crazy when riding around!

Sugru to the rescue! With a couple of well placed magnets, and filling the gap in the lock with Sugru, I've managed to stop the banging entirely!

Now I can happily ride down the road hearing only the pop and crackle of my engine and without my bomb-proof box sounding like it's about to explode!
