Prevent from pressing the button on a car key fob

My late model, mid-sized sedan has an annoying trait that I didn't know how to fix until now.

Every time I stuff my keys into my pocket, the shorter keys on the key-less remote key chain inadvertently press down on the red alarm button on the back of the remote, setting off the car alarm and annoying me and everyone in the vicinity.

The fix I came up with involved cutting the plastic packaging off of a toothbrush and Sugru. I cut the plastic piece to size, then used black Sugru to adhere the covering to the back of the remote. Now my keys won't depress the button but I can still force the plastic down if needed to set the alarm. No more annoying accidental alarms!
