The problem: hard-case luggage got one of the spinning feet broken during a flight-trip. Much too late and too tired to report it... Much too close to vacation travel dates and Christmas to face the crowds to replace it in busy Singapore. Plus I liked the piece and it's too much garbage if thrown away for one broken wheel, so I decided - against hubby's advice - to try to fix it with Sugru. (My dear one had even said: "If this holds you deserve a prize and you're a Sugru-hero - almost "super-hero") Lol.

He knows how I enthusiastically advertise for Sugru to all our friends. :))) Show off with the fixed knives-handles, kids swimming goggles where silicon parts were glued, etc.)

Reinforcement for the insides (empty plastic orange juice box) - so the wheel pad gets some support besides the thin roll of Sugru...

Used some black (2 packets) and red (1 packet) as I had extra... Covered it then with grey (1 packet) to make it pretty and more durable.

Now the insurance company took this masterpiece in for examination and am not sure how much they'll reimburse. They'll see the "pre-existing injury" but not the amazing fix and few hours of labour...

Well, in my hubby's eye, I am a Sugru-hero. Thank you, mate, for the super-fix.
