Repair arms on glasses

I was out doing some late night photography in the middle of April and had borrowed my roommates car. I don't like wearing my glasses when shooting because they get in the way and are a overall hindrance to the process. I left them by the handbrake (or so I thought), went out to do my shoot, came back to the car and hastily bundled into the drivers seat since it was freezing outside that night. When I went to grab my glasses to drive away I couldn't find them. Sure enough, I stepped back out of the car and saw my glasses, in two pieces, right underneath where I was just sitting ready to drive away.
I waited for quite a while to truly search for a solution to fix my glasses. I thought about just using arms off of other pairs to cure my prescription frame's problems. After quite a few sessions of Googling the strongest glues, duck tapes, and plastic melting techniques I accidently stumbled across the PERFECT SOLUTION. After reading sugru's entire website, seeing all that people had done with the product, and figuring out how cheap it really would be I ordered myself a small batch. Best 'fix-it decision' I have ever made. Best thing about the 1 packet I used was that I didn't even use it all for just my glasses. I also had enough left to fix my water bottle which was very insistent about pouring its contents all over my things whenever I would carry it around in a bag or leave it in my motorcycle's saddle bags.

As you can see, I also 'branded' my sugru. :) I have to advertise a fantastic company somehow!

I just wore my glasses and they are good as new!! :)
