Secure a loose USB stick cap

I found a USB stick that also has a MicroUSB plug and just HAD to buy it. It comes with a cap for each end but they're loose and therefore there's a risk of them getting lost. As I was already using some white sugru to fix some cracked plates I decided to use the leftovers to secure the caps. I just rolled out a snake, attached to each cap and then the middle to the stick itself. By putting the keyring or a carabener in the loop between a cap and the stick I should also have a relatively easy way to keep it with me.
