Attach a glass table top

We made a coffee table using reclaimed wood. We thought that the suction cups or screws typically used for attaching glass to a wooden table frame could be replaced by Sugru. We used the only two sachets we had, a white and yellow to make equal sized spheres. We placed them on each of the stumps and carefully placed the glass sheet. The weight of the sheet flattened the Sugru balls into neat discs. The Sugru is holding the glass more securely than the common solutions would.
