Personalise your mugs
Sugru is just the thing for personalising with, so you can put your mark on your favourite things, or even as a gift. Who doesn't love a homemade gift that's unique to them?!
Sugru can be shaped, stamped and textured, and because once you've opened a pack, you've got 30 minutes before the Sugru begins to set, it gives you plenty of time to personalise to perfection.
Here's how you do it
What you'll need:
A single-use pack of Sugru
A Letter Stamp Kit (found online or in any craft store)
Or use any texturising tools (toothbrush, scalpel, pen, thimble) to imprint a shape or pattern of your choosing
Soapy water
Step 1
Pinch off a small piece and rub onto the object you want to stamp. This creates your base layer.
Step 2
Pinch off another larger piece of Sugru and rub onto your base layer and make a smooth surface. You can use soapy water to get it extra smooth.
Step 3
Dip your letters or other stamping tools into the soapy water, so that they don't stick to the Sugru.
Step 4
Press the letters into the Sugru until you’ve left your impression.
Step 5
Leave for 12-24 hours for the Sugru to set.
