Elevate your decoration game and make these spook-tacular homemade Halloween lanterns in 4 simple steps, using just some of the brilliant tesa tapes available in the Sugru shop. Scroll below to see the super easy step-by-step guide.

You'll need:

  • Black Fix Anything Eco Tape
  • Quick Tape & Mini Dispenser
  • A straight glass lantern or a glass container that is suitable to use with a candle inside
  • Print-outs or drawings of your chosen Halloween designs
  • Black card paper
  • Black mulberry paper
  • Transparent or translucent paper (tracing paper or baking paper will also work)
  • Craft knife
  • Scissors
  • Ruler

Step 1:

Using the Quick Tape & Mini Dispenser stick your design to your black card paper, then cut out the shape using your craft knife.

Step 2:

Cut a piece of mulberry paper to size depending on the size of your glass lantern (height x circumference + 1cm). Then place your Halloween design in the centre of the bottom edge of your mulberry paper. Secure it in place by applying the Black Fix Anything Eco Tape all along the bottom edge of the mulberry paper.

Step 3:

Wrap the mulberry paper around your glass lantern, and use the Quick Tape & Mini Dispenser to secure it in place.

Step 4:

Cut the transparent paper to the dimensions of the mulberry paper, and wrap it around the glass lantern, over the mulberry paper. Again, secure it in place using the Quick Tape & Mini Dispenser.
