would like to improve the palm swell on an expensive trap shotgun, it would be applied to the wood checkering.. question is can it be removed completly??
As for the Sugru in itself, the answer is yes, it can be completely removed, unless it was applied to a porous surface.
But ... it might leave a color stain on wood after removal. If your wood checkering is uniformely colored you could try color matching, so it wouldn't show later (see here: http://sugru.com/guides/how-to-mix-sugru-to-make-custom-colours).
