Adapt an old iPod case to an upgraded hard disk

Up to now it fixed several things with the help of sugru. Mainly our kids toys :)

One fix I'm really happy about is the one with my iPod. Recently my old iPod 30GB died with a hard disk crash. Instead of throwing it away, I order a new disk via ebay and though I could spend my good old iPod a major upgrade to a new 120 GB disk. What I didn't count for was that the new disk is significantly thicker than the old one (~3mm) and therefore I could not close the case anymore.

With sugru I was able to close the gap in the case and enjoy my new iPod. GREAT ! ;)
