Improve and protect a garden table

My glass patio table erupted but I wanted to keep it because the set is still beautiful even after 11 years, I decided to do it again over the table porcelain and put up to date. However, I had to make a hole in the middle for inserting a parasol. The challenge was to protect the wood from the bad weather. I used a black pvc pipe and Sugru helped secure it to the table also making it a good solid finish. I mixed black and white to achieve a harmonious result.
