Add bumpers to padlocks on a boat

When I received some packets of Sugru as a stocking filler at Christmas, I wondered what I was going to do with it. As a boating geek, already into both sailing and maintaining my boat I already had a vast collection of different fillers and glues to the deal with the inevitable repairs that come with boat ownership and use.
My eureka moment came with understanding the plasticine nature of Sugru in its uncured state. The latest use has been to provide bumpers on various locker padlocks to prevent rubbing, with the ability to use it to identify their respective keys.
No doubt I will soon find some more uses.
