Repair a motorcycle front mudguard

There was a crack on the front mudguard which was growing due to vibration. I used a single pack of black sugru to join the crack. I used some electrical tape the keep the two halves together until the sugru had set. The repair is still in place after a few hundred miles and the crack is not growing.
