Add a reflective strip to your wellies

I had an old reflective strip which contained tiny lights; originally used as armband or dog collar. Very useful at night when walking on dark roads. The battery for the bulbs went so I stripped off the reflective strip, cut it in half and sugru'ed it to the backs of my wellies - creating a safety feature for better visibility!
