How to keep device cables hidden

This Sugru Mouldable Glue solution is downright genius. Sugru-er Juan Juan shows us how to neatly keep our home device cables hidden.

"I really like my Google Home but hate cables."

Well Juan, we can all relate. With a single-use pack of Sugru, and four easy steps, Juan has fixed that problem for us all.

Step 1

Place Sugru in a cone shape, on the base of your device.

Step 2

Press the base of the plug to the base of your device, in this case, a Google Home unit. Use a toothpick to round out and smooth the Sugru. Important note: Make sure your USB port and outlet line up. Otherwise, you'll end up with a crooked finish.

Step 3

Wind your cable around the plug. Use the remaining Sugru to hold the cable in place; this will prevent it from unwinding.

Step 4

Wait 12-24 hours for the Sugru to set.

That's it! Your home just got that little bit smarter (and prettier).
