Fix an Infiniti M35 car side mirror

When I bought my 2006 Infiniti M35x it came with a few scratches, dings, and a noticeable side mirror (Passanger-side) crack :-(

I was willing to live with it rather than getting a replacement mirror for $600+installation.

After driving it a few weeks, the crack seemed more and more noticeable to me (like a zit on my face)....I wanted fixed but I could not stomach the cost of a replacement mirror.

sugru to the rescue! Using just one small pack of black sugru, I was able to fill the crack and shape it easily with the contours of the mirror. After sugru had hardened the next day, I was able to use my drill with a sander bit and shape it to perfection!

Now I do not even notice it at all when I glance over to the mirror :-) Thanks sugru! I can finally enjoy my new ride :-)
