Create a customised sink guard

The wood at the back of the sink used to get wet from splashes all the time so we used to put a tea towel down. I wanted a permanent solution to the tea towels which was less waste and not so soggy when you turned the tap! I made a cement mosaic on outdoor wood and used Sugru to customise the groove of the sink so it sits flush on the sink line without moving. I used cling film so it can be removed if the sink needs cleaning. I then used the sugru to make a smooth waterproof area behind the taps so that the cement does not graze the hands or get wet. No more tea towels or sogginess yeahhhhh.
